AIS (Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited), Thailand's largest mobile operator, recently launched a new 5G smartphone - the RUIO R1 5G SA. As an entry level 5G smartphonethe R1 5G SA uses a UNISOC Tanggula T740 5G chipset, and is the first overseas smartphone to be equipped with a UNISOC Tanggula 5G chipset.

The RUIO R1 5G SA has an overall cool black design and a 2.5D curved glass for a large 6.5-inch high-definition V-Notch large screen, which makes the appearance rounder and more textured. 4GB+64GB of memory and a battery capacity of 4,400mAh add practicality to the trenchant features of the phone to meet user demand for performance and endurance.

A powerful shooting capability is one of the phones major highlights. The RUIO R1 5G SA has three rear cameras, including the main camera at 16-megapixels. These cameras, combined with Super Night Shot, HDR, AI Beautifying and many other camera functions, not only allow for clearer portraits, but also more clearly restore the full view of large scenes. Its Face Unlock and Face Recognition features not only protect users' privacy but also make it more effective to activate the phone when needed.

The excellent performance of the RUIO R1 5G SA cannot be separated from the strong support of the UNISOC Tanggula T740 5G chipset. The UNISOC Tanggula T740 uses an 8-core CPU architecture, which is composed of four 1.8GHz Arm Cortex-A75 cores and four 1.8GHz Arm Cortex-A55 cores. It integrates 4K@30fps CODEC, 802.11AC, BT 5.0 with other powerful multimedia and advanced wireless communication capabilities.

With the aid of the UNISOC Tanggula T740, the RUIO R1 5G SA realizes 5G dual SIM with dual standby, and supports SA/NSA dual-mode networking, N41/N78/N79 and other 5G mainstream frequency bands. It can seamlessly switch between 5G and 4G, allowing for high-speed and a stable connection, as well as simultaneous Internet surfing and phone calls.
